| A new chapter in my career life will soon begin. I'm thrilled to be promoted to Regional Manager for my company, but scared at the same time. I'm also considering starting school again. I decided to study and get a MPA degree, but will I be able to manage school and work at the same time? I almost completed the application for CSULB, but I'm stuck at the part where I have to write a statement. I haven't written a paper for a long time. Anyone want to write one for me? My brother and his girlfriend are engaged now. I'm very happy for them, but kind of not. My 2002 car is getting old now. It has about 118k miles on it. Considering my financial situation (being independent, considering school, etc) do I buy used or new? Well, time to go eat korean bbq with friends, but I do miss xanga. I want to come back. |

Mom, I love you so much. I'm going to miss you so much. You are going to be the most beautiful angel in Heaven. Please be my guardian angel. I'm going to miss our conversations, I'm going to miss holding your hands... I'm going to miss everything about you. Let's meet up every night, in my dream. I'll be waiting for you. I love you Mom. |

| A Korean couple who had been living in the U.S. for 20 years drowned this week after driving into a river, apparently because their English was too poor to explain their plight to emergency services. Dallas police in the state of Texas said they pulled a Hyundai sedan from the Trinity River in South Oak Creek on Wednesday morning. Kim Young-hwan and Kim Sook-yeon, who were reported missing on Monday, were found in the car. On the day they disappeared, the Kims apparently went driving in heavy rain to look at a location for a new pizza restaurant. Police assume the couple was swept into a torrential stream in a low-lying area where rain had washed out pools. The bereaved family say the husband called 911 on his mobile phone but the operator hung up on him because Kim’s English was not fluent. The couple then reportedly called an acquaintance saying, “Water is coming in, help me.” |
